/signed and double signed. I've worked enough to get my Elite skills thank you very much; I don't want to spend another 2 days trying to cap Ether Prod for my monk (which I'm doing...ugh). Too often the mobs are not in the same spot, if they spawn at all in the mission, making cap runs a do over and over and over until the mission has become such a FARM that the cap itself has lost all meaning.
Maybe place the Skill Cap vendor somewhere very inexcessable, like the north side of Fire Island, well away from Ember Light. I don't see too many level 12s getting runs through all that! And since you've already capped the skill once, whats the harm making it easier to get it again? Not everyone wants to make a PvP character just to practice a build idea for a toon we already have.

Its hard enough to capture these skills once, this seems like it would eliminate a lot of the grind. If anything, it would be another incentive for people to actually play the missions after ascension.

This may be a nooby question but you are aware that eth prod is energy storage, which primary monks dont have access to?

You limit us on character slots yet we have to re-armor and re-invest (cash and time) in every single one we make from scratch. My 3 pves covering the 6 classes share many skills and elites, I'd suggest normal skills as well personally.
Taking the MtG concept why do we have to collect the cards over and over and over again from scratch each time for further PvEs? If you want to limit new character starts fine, but at somepoint why do we have to re-quest, re-buy, and re-cap the same things over and over again?
It'll only get crazier with more chapters - so all of our chp2 started characters will have to find their specific ones in chapter2 AND wade in chapter1 for those specific skills and between chapter1 & chapter2 hunt for the shared elite skills. For each character we want to try each time.
Then add chapter 3 etc etc, and if you're like me you like trying lots of combinations - hey again go figure just like MtG. But recollecting cards from scratch to do so over and over and over again, when at times you have to blow away long standing PvE characters, effectively losing that whole range of options for PvE? yikes.
Anyone ever play PSO III:CARD? A shame characters aren't more like that - they really just make use of the skills you've aquired. PvP *is* like that, but a lot of us enjoy PvE and for that part of the game, it's anything but.
So I'd rather see re-aquisiton/re-quest/re-buy gone, but if they can't steer clear to remove a (IMO crazy, particularly for regular skills) 1k money sink for each, that would be better than having to re-cap all those elites - let us buy for any character once capped ONCE, ie another ember light camp merchant.

Good idea, but quite frankly I think skills are way to easy to get your hands on at the moment. This will just make it easier, and personally, I'm not interested in that.
Also, they're elite. They aren't supposed to be easy to get. And so what if they're just "tedious"? They're still elite and they shouldn't be aquirable through a trainer. That's just my opinion though.

Eh... no.
I cant support this. They are "elite skills" because they are hard to get.
If the skill is readily available to every char you create, its not elite, its common. Searching out and doing things outside of the Mission and Quest areas is one of the things that makes PVE fun.

It was sarcasm. Get a grip buddy.
You have already capped the skill, so why put yourself through the hassle of having to recap it? Tedium ftl.

Maybe you have to have beat all the missions to buy it. If there's a requirement, a pretty hard one, then I would /sign. If not, /not signed.

/signed. This is a really good idea. It applies to all non-elite skills already (you can get any endgame skill from ANY skill trader if you know it on an alt) so why not let the endgame skill trader sell you elites? You'd have to basically beat the campaign so it's not like you could get them as a low level or use them to help you with the campaign.
